Stopping service through the City of Garden City must be made by the customer in writing. City Codebook Section 90-36.
Requirements to Turn Off Services
Must have written authorization from the account owner.
Services can be turned off the same day with required information presented by 3 pm.
To make your request online, please complete the Discontinue Service Agreement.
If faxing or mailing, the following information is required:
- Account Name
- Service Address
- Date of Disconnection
- Mailing Address
- Signature of the account holder, or authorized persons as listed on Authorization Form previously completed and retained in our records. Please note beside signature if other than account holder.
